ST JOHN’S UMC OUTREACH MINISTRIES
During the children’s message time on Sunday mornings, children are encouraged to bring pennies to help fill our coin jar. We collected enough pennies and dollars ($210) to purchase 3 dairy goats through Samaritan's Purse International Relief Ministry.
When Joshua described God’s promised land to Moses and the people of Israel, he said, “It truly flows with milk and honey” (Numbers 13:27). Samaritan’s Purse helps impoverished families enjoy the daily blessing of fresh milk by providing them with dairy goats or cows. A nanny goat will yield a quart of milk a day, and a small herd will not only keep a family well-fed but also produce a surplus to sell at the local market. Our gift of $210 will help Samaritan's Purse provide a family with a goat or other dairy animal, while building relationships that will give opportunities to share the promises of the Lord.
The current mission for the children is to collect pennies for Clean Water Filters. Out of His heart will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38
Ferrell UMC has a CLOTHES CLOSET held on the 4th Tuesday of each month in their fellowship hall. Gently used clothing is offered to those in need.
